Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest decisions you can make. Right from the start, my goal is to become your secret weapon: I will research and answer every question you have. I’ll guide and support you – even after you close the deal. I expect to talk to you nearly every day throughout the process. If you’re new to the area, it’s likely that you’ll need help settling in. I will do that. I take pride in staying close to people I work with.
Prince George’s County is a thriving hub in the greater Washington, DC area. Surrounding Washington on its north and east borders, it has become a prime destination for professionals with families as well as career-starters working in important public/private organizations.
Some of my favorite towns in Prince George’s county include Hyattsville, College Park, Takoma Park and Laurel. Vintage homes abound in these neighborhoods. You’ll find a rich range of Victorian, Arts & Crafts, and California-style bungalows sprinkled among the architectural styles.
When you’re not driving around looking at homes (as I do!), you’ll find that the University of Maryland provides rich and varied cultural opportunities for local residents to gain exposure to the arts and sciences through its performances and lectures. There are also lots of opportunities for progressive-minded folks who enjoy social action, and want to engage others in diverse causes. While its proliferation of restaurants, movie theaters, cultural offerings, and child-centered activities make it a natural hub for the region, each town is set apart by its distinct personality and verve.
Together the northern towns of Prince George’s County comprise a dynamic, interlocking whole that have made the region, according to the Washington Post, one of the most desirable and fastest-appreciating regions in the nation.
Need local real estate information? I’ve summarized much of what’s important about Hyattsville, College Park, Takoma Park, and Laurel real estate in this site. But there’s more!
I am also an expert in the real estate markets in neighboring University Park, Greenbelt, Lanham, Silver Spring, Crofton, Bowie, Davidsonville, Cambridge, Easton and Washington, DC. Whatever your price range, there’s a home for you in Prince George’s county or just over the county line in Anne Arundel or the city border with Washington, DC.
And if you are ready to downsize to a condo, there are lots of opportunities available to you as well.

In the real estate world, a large group of people are looking to buy homes at any given time. These are the seller's best prospects. This ready group of buyers is wasted, however, if your house is overpriced.
People who have been shopping around and are accustomed to comparing properties will probably refuse to look at your home with an unrealistic price tag. You and your real estate agent may know that you would sell for $10,000 less, but the buyers do not know this. As a result, your overpriced property receives little attention.
Don't be fooled into thinking that your house is worth more than someone is willing to pay for it, or that it's just a matter of waiting for the "right" buyer to show up. Surveys show that the longer a house is on the market before being sold, the greater the drop in price from the listing price when it does sell. The buying public eventually sets an accurate price. An overpriced house just sits on the market, waiting for a price adjustment before it will attract a buyer.
